Simeon Walker is a pianist & composer from Leeds in the UK. As a musician, he has been an active member of the UK music scene for over a decade, performing with numerous bands and as a session player. His debut solo EP 'Preface' was released on Swedish label 1631 Recordings to significant acclaim across the modern classical genre.
With three consecutive official Piano Day Playlist features - compiled by German luminary Nils Frahm- Walker is part of a burgeoning scene within the Modern Classical world with the likes of Frahm, Ólafur Arnalds, Max Richter and label Erased Tapes leading the way in bringing a predominantly small, niche genre to wider attention.
Simeon Walker's debut full length album 'Mono' was released in November 2017 to wide acclaim, with Gold Flake Paint describing it as "beautifully captivating" whilst the Big Issue labelled the release as "resplendent".
Having toured throughout the UK and Europe in support of the album, Walker has received airplay across BBC Radio 3, BBC 6 Music, The World Service and numerous BBC Introducing shows, culminating in performing at this years' Latitude Festival.
